Exceptional hosts made my stay memorable! Breakfast was the highlight – truly the best I've had in months. The location felt safe and was conveniently near the beach and local restaurants.

Sometimes, it was too quiet! This meant limited social interaction with other guests.

The air conditioning sometimes felt weak, making it hard to sleep comfortably!!! Also, the noise from the street can be quite disruptive at night, so consider requesting a room away from the main road!!!

Tapihouse is a foodie’s paradise! I devoured an amazing breakfast that was vegan-friendly and packed with flavors. Not to forget, the location is killer—just a quick stroll to nearby gems like Salud Kitchen for some local eats or Simon Says Smoothie Bar to cool off. And Rafa? He made my stay feel like I was chilling with family, offering local tips that took my culinary adventure to the next level!

The WiFi was a bit hit-and-miss, kind of like a tiny speed bump in an otherwise exhilarating ride. But honestly, it didn't dim the vibe. every other aspect sparkled!

the hotel was just okay, really. The breakfast only being served from 8 was super inconvenient, who eats that late? Also, my room didn’t have a window, just a wooden shutter. I was expecting a complimentary upgrade for all these nuisances, but guess they don’t cater to someone with an exquisite taste like mine. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

I had a fantastic time at Tapihouse. The location is a dream, just a five-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The room was spacious, dark enough at night for a good sleep, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping me cool. Breakfast was a highlight for me. it was delicious, with options that catered to my vegan preferences and enough food to fuel me for the day. Rafa and Sori, the hosts, were incredibly warm and welcoming, almost like family. They went above and beyond, helping arrange transportation and offering local recommendations. However, I encountered a couple of issues. The WiFi could be a bit patchy at times, and I noticed the communal area could have used some more cozy seating. Overall, Tapihouse truly felt like a home away from home.

Rafa and his wife provided the most very nice hospitality during my stay. The rooms were clean, and I loved that they all had AC, allowing for uninterrupted sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of options, and the best I've had in Central America.

I spent 1 night here while exploring nearby attractions like Playa Escameca and ChocoMuseo. The breakfast was absolutely huge and delicious, a great start to my day. The owner was very accommodating and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to recharge after a day of sightseeing.

We had such a great time at this spot! The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was an absolute feast, like every day was a brunch party! Only thing was, the parking was a bit tricky. But honestly, the vibe here is worth it!

The laundry service was ridiculously cheap and the wifi never let us down! Rafa’s help navigating a tricky situation was priceless.

Decent option for one night in San Juan del Sur with outstanding value. The host was very helpful in providing tips for local spots to visit. Be aware that rooms lack windows, which may feel a bit confining.
